Special Spaces, a national non-profit organization,
creates a dream bedroom make over for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. This is a place that only the child can dream or imagine while addressing their medical needs. We create a place of hope and inspiration, and a "special space" to find peace and comfort.
As of today, Special Spaces has created hundreds of bedrooms across the country. It is the vision of our organization to have a Special Spaces Director everywhere there is a child in need.
Paula Strickland, owner of Simply Done Interiors, has acquired a dual directorship for Special Spaces, now serving kiddos in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, & Estero.

Paula Strickland has been a designer in Northwest Montana for over 18 years and has been simplifying and beautifying spaces in Southwest Florida since 2012.
Paula's design process centers around 3 main principles:
DEFINE - {dih-fahyn] to state or describe something clearly. We help to discover and define the needs of our clients.
DESIGN - [dih-zahyn] to plan and make something in a skillful or artistic way. We design simple, elegant, and timeless spaces to create what the clients have envisioned.
